CES 2020 Las Vegas trade show

CES 2020 is just around the corner! As one of the world’s largest technology trade shows, CES offers many of the most popular technology products of the year. The Android Authority and its sister sites SoundGuys and Drone Rush attend every year, giving you a first glimpse of the latest mobile technology, audio products, drones and more.

The profile of CES mobile technology is shrinking year by year and we expect that smartphone related ads will be lower in CES 2020 than ever before. However, there are still plenty of ads for adjacent products to cover mobile devices including TVs, Chromebooks, laptops, headphones, smart speakers, VR headsets, portable accessories and more.

Acer

Acer usually brings new Chromebook hardware to CES. At CES last year, it launched the Acer Chromebook 315, the company’s first Chromebook based on an all-party APU processor manufactured by AMD. The company announced a new laptop with Windows 10, Acer Swift 7. The device comes with a 14-inch touch screen and very thin bezels and an incredibly thin design.

The company has unveiled new Chromebooks and Windows laptops at IFA 2019, but we should expect to see even more at CES 2020.

Apple

For the first time in 28 years, Apple will be participating in the CES 2020. The company is not expected to announce any new hardware at this event. Instead, Apple’s Senior Global Privacy Director Jane Horvath will be part of a privacy roundtable. Session “Privacy Director Roundtable: What Do Customers Need?” HomeKit, a smart device control system, is also said to feature at CES. The company will often promote third-party devices that work with Siri.

Even in the form of a giant billboard, Apple appeared at CES 2019. As seen from the CES location, the billboard announced iPhone access to privacy. In addition, he cited data security controversies at Google, Facebook and other companies.

Asus

Asus brings his game to A CES, which shouldn’t change this year. In 2019 Asus launched a Chromebook line targeting education (C204, C214, C403 and CT100 tablet) as well as the popular Chromebook Flip C434. Many new products, including laptops, desktops, monitors and computer accessories, were added to the Asus ROG gaming sub-brand.

At CES 2020, we will see the company’s new Chromebooks, as well as many new ROG products. Personally, I expect the Chromebook C434 to follow up.
